Software publishers now
have an opportunity to license their products to our Virtual Server and
Virtual Desktop subscribers through the CNS Software Publisher Program.
By leveraging our managed platform and subscription billing system,
publishers can protect their intellectual property while providing their
software as a service to our subscribers.
Whether you are a
publisher of Windows Server software,
Windows Desktop
applications, or
Meta Trader Expert Advisors, partnering with CNS as a software
publisher is a win-win solution. You will enjoy a managed end-user
platform and a means of delivering installed software to our subscribers
by subscription, without the hassle of maintaining end-subscriber
billing.
Besides making your
software available to our subscribers, we will help you promote your
software by providing specialized versions of our service plans with
your software bundled in. You can link to these plans directly
from your web site. Other promotions are also planned, such
as electronic coupon codes to help you introduce your software at trade
shows and to those very special leads.
Monthly subscription
costs are determined by you - the publisher. At the beginning of
each month, we will send you a report with the previous months
subscriptions and revenue. We deduct a 10% fee to cover the costs
of maintaining the service and collecting funds, etc.. The
remaining fees are sent to you by US mail.
In order to protect
software from piracy, we provide publishers with
our Windows dll.
It's very easy to call the DLL from any windows application or EA in
order to determine if the software is licensed. Details on how to
integrate our copy protection technology with your software will be sent
to you on acceptance to the CNS Software Publisher Program.
Of course, providing
support to your subscribers is also very important. Publishers
will be required to have a special hidden entry page on their web site,
where subscribers can easily click to from their CNS desktop or server
and receive software support. By utilizing the CNS subscription
system, publishers can quickly determine if a subscriber requesting
support is authorized.
